Commercial Insulation Calgary

Warehouses, shops and commercial buildings across Calgary lose money through their walls and roofs every winter.

Closed Cell for Working Buildings

Closed cell foam adds rigidity, resists moisture, and reaches a usable R-value in little depth, which keeps clearance for racking, lifts and lighting. It keeps interior humidity off cold steel, so condensation stops dripping from roof purlins in January.

Industrial and Agricultural Projects

We insulate industrial facilities, barns and agricultural buildings across the Calgary area, and our crews work around your operating schedule. Ask about project pricing, meet our installation crews, or call (587) 802-3874 for a free site visit.

Steel Buildings in an Alberta Climate

A metal panel conducts heat almost immediately and stores none, so the inside surface tracks the outside temperature closely. Through an Alberta winter that means a building that is punishing to heat and prone to condensation wherever warm interior air reaches a cold panel. Closed cell foam applied to the underside adheres to the metal, follows every rib and seam, and seals the laps and fastener penetrations that a batt system bridges over rather than closes.

Condensation Damages the Building, Not Just the Comfort

Warm humid interior air meeting a cold steel panel gives up its moisture on contact. In an uninsulated building that water runs down the walls and drips from the roof line onto stock, equipment and the slab, and over time reaches fasteners and framing. Closed cell foam at the thicknesses we install acts as a vapour retarder as well as insulation, which moves the dew point out of the structure instead of managing the symptom with heat or ventilation.

Shops, Warehouses and Industrial Bays

Working buildings are often the clearest case, because they are typically uninsulated, built for shelter rather than comfort, and expensive to condition as they stand. Insulating one changes what it can be used for across a Calgary winter: a shop that can be worked in, storage that is not subject to condensation, a bay that holds temperature long enough to be useful.

Working Around an Operating Business

Most commercial work happens in a building somebody needs to keep using. That means sequencing by bay or section, agreeing in advance what has to be moved or covered, and being explicit about cure times and ventilation during and after application. Those belong in the written scope before the crew arrives rather than being negotiated on the morning of the job.

Questions

Common questions

Why closed-cell foam on steel buildings?

It bonds directly to metal, resists moisture, and stops the condensation that drips from cold steel.

Do you serve commercial properties across Calgary?
